Electrical Programme

(Part P)

This is a training and assessment programme which covers complex elements of electrical installation and testing.

Individuals with limited electrical knowledge will benefit by attending the InTAPlumb 2 day Essential Electrics course.

The Part P course delivers training and assessment to satisfy the requirements of Part P of the Building Regulations 2005:

The course is designed for non electrical personnel (with some basic electrical knowledge) who work on electrical systems in domestic premises as part of their day to day duties i.e. Plumbers, Gas Engineers, Kitchen Fitters.

The scheme is accredited by CORGI, but is operated and certificated by BPEC Certification Ltd.

The course certificate, in addition to an on-site work inspection, will qualify the candidate to join a ‘Part P Competent Persons scheme’ for Part P Defined Scope, so candidates can self certify their work.

The course is divided into 8 training modules and a wide range of practical activities are integrated within the programme.
